One of my favorite architects of all time. His architectural designs are just incredible the Sagrada Familia to the Church of Colònia Güell but my favorite must be the Casa Batllo.
One of the reason I love it so much is because my mum always made me believe that its roof was made of real dragon scales. As I got older and my belief in her story faded. But I only begun to love the building more. I loved the shape of every detail, the arches and the windows. The imagination that went into creating such a master piece is extraordinary.
Gaudi’s inspiration was nature and the Mediterranean sea and you can get that vibe for knowing this.
His creation just by looking at it fulls me with energy and excitement. It makes me want to explore outside the norm of design so I can create something incredible.
