So yes I needed motivation and did this blog help, no.
It suggests that you need to break down your tasks into
chunks of 50 minutes. Pick 3 tasks and rotate them 50 minutes each with a small
break in between. Which sound all well and good, I get its logic, so you don’t get board
of one task.
However, I don’t have 3 tasks. I have 1. I could make up another two, like cleaning or Netflix but then I would find it hard to go back to the original. I can’t reward myself for doing such task (writing) as I find it boring and if I try to set a goal for a reward i'll consciously be checking the time or my word count and then my negative feeling are always there and my work ethic is just completely gone.
Or say I do get through the 50 minutes of work I reward myself with Netflix but good tv shows, named for being good mean that i end up binge watch all 10 episodes. I end up downing 4 energy drinks and a bag of Doritos, so i can finish in the short time frame I have. So again, did this article help no.

but then again this rant was very helpful and I feel relaxed
enough to get back down to business and defeat the huns ...
